This regional news is designed to keep educators, parents, and students aware of events and resources in the Redwood Region and throughout California. Please contact your regional representative if you have questions, have local resources to share, or would like to become more involved.
Membership in CAG supports advocacy efforts for gifted students in the state legislature, continued educator training opportunities, direct access to the Gifted Educator Communicator, and discounted conference fees.

Classroom Observation Opportunities
The Redwood Region offers opportunities to observe differentiated instruction as follows:
On the second Tuesday of each month, Santa Rosa Accelerated Charter School offers an opportunity for CAG members to view lessons in depth and complexity in 6th grade classrooms. Please contact Anna Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
Kathy Alexander, 6th grade teacher at Sequoia Elementary in Rincon Valley Union School District, welcomes visitors to observe GATE strategies being used across the curriculum.
